    I am looking to lose around 70. In the first 2 weeks I have lost 8 and am feeling good.
    Good luck to you. If you put your mind to it, I know that you will succeed. The biggest thing that I have done is to cut my calories to about 1000-1200/day. I still allow my self a few treats, just in much smaller portions. Let me know if I can help.

    Technically I have 100 pounds or so to lose to get down to a 'healthy' BMI. My first major goal is to get under 200, then 160. :)

    I have 160 pounds to loose. I just started on May 2nd (both with my diet and on MFP) so I am a newbie as well. I have been eating between 2000 and 2500 caleries a day this week and riding my stationary bike for 10-20 minutes a day. I know it isn't much but it is a start, as I just don't have the stamina yet to do a lot. I figure it is better than just sitting on the couch like I was consuming 6000-8000 caleries a day! Good luch on your plan and you are welcome to add me. Wouldn't it be great to show up at Christmas, to those family members that you only see once a year) a hundred pounds lighter!
