love them maybe not daily but they are good and healthy and can be added to a huge variety of things easily wish they weren't so expensive but lucky you can slice and freeze and use then when prices go up too much to buy fresh

I eat one for breakfast everyday, I scrape out a bigger hole (the flesh I scrape out goes into my smoothie) crack an egg in each and bake, YUMMY.

I ate 1 per day and lost 171lbs... just have to count the calories from it ;).

Well how's that for motivation? That's awesome! I'm definitely going to start eating more of them!

I've always thought I shouldn't have them too often. Dang. Should've joined these forums before!

Avocado's are not people. They don't have opinions...Sorry couldn't resist.

Don't be afraid of avocados! They are your friend :) As others said just fit them in your macros and you're good!

Should I be concerned that they often speak to me then?

I miss living in Cali for this reason... we had our own avacado trees :( they are $1.49 EACH here... so I don't get them often and then I make guac :)

Haha that must've been awesome. Then again, we get maple syrup every spring. So there's that.

When the price is right on them? I love them and see no reason to limit them as long as they fit in your calories/macros. That will be my plan once winter's over. I love them in salad.

What an odd subject.. I love those dang things. But they have lots of fat. I know it's healthy fat, but it's still fat. My question is, how often would you think they should be eaten? I could eat them everyday but obviously that's not a great idea.

They're one of my favorites, and I eat them when on sale a few times a week. I love them with lime juice in a mock-guac

When I can find them, and they're respectable looking, and they're on sale (seriously, they're regularly $2.50 EACH here, and mostly look about 3 months too old to eat, not saleable).

$0.49/avocado? I'm jealous. I rarely find them for less than $2 apiece 'cause we have to import them from Mexico.

Same where I live. Last one I bought was $2.99.

I love them, though. Have been eating about one a week, but if you get a good price and enjoy them I see nothing wrong with eating them a lot more often than that.
