Is hours of cardio necessary for weightloss? What is the best amount of time to spend on cardio daily?

    The literature I've read says 30 minutes per day is optimal for cardiovascular health.
    You don't need to exercise to lose weight. You just need to be in a calorie deficit.
    Deficit for weightloss, exercise for health.

    Thank you you definitely learn something new everyday. I want to lose weight and tone but I know the diet is the biggest part of the journey.
