Why is it so high? I had 3 today and already over my daily recommended cholesterol intake.

Did your doctor tell you watch your cholesterol?

Ignore the warnings for cholesterol. Eating eggs has little to no effect in your blood cholesterol, even if you are a person with cholesterol problems, eating eggs are still ok

The cholesterol in eggs is just fine. Ignore it unless you are doctor ordered. Eggs for awhile got a bad rap, but the truth is they are a good healthy part of a diet. The benefits are much higher than the cholesterol.

Some reading about how the cholesterol in eggs does not have a major impact on cholesterol in blood.

Dietary cholesterol has little to no effect on serum cholesterol levels.

Unless your Doc ordered it ... enjoy all the eggs you want.

The whole scare about cholesterol and eggs was debunked way back in the, oh, 80s I think? Blood cholesterol levels are somewhat impacted by saturated fats, but are mostly genetic, and there's not much of a link between dietary and blood cholesterol levels. And eggs are really nutritious.

You can eat eggs without worry.
