I love this guy but one question. He really stressed weights over cardio and i get that but where does water jogging fit in. I love that and i thought since there was resistence against the water that it was up there with kettlebells. Someone please clarify.
I must have missed that section, which video was that one in?0 -

What a great link! Thanks. Favorite quote from his '5 fake diet foods': "They shouldn't call it SlimFast, they should call it DieFast!" So much truth!0

May I know how much cardio is too much? I do aerobic dancing for 30 mins and walking for 60 mins on daily basis. Is this going to slow down my metabolism?
Hope someone could answer me. Thanks in advance.0 -

there's no easy answer to this question, but if ALL you're doing is cardio, that's something you need to correct, there should be 3 days of resistance or hybrid training in there as well.0 -

Not sure I like the reasons behind the hate of the puffed grains.
The reason I'd advise against them is because they're full of air. As soon as you chew them, you realise how little you're eating, and it doesn't fill you up. Per weight they're actually pretty high calorie foods.
Calories ARE calories too, no-one will lose weight if they continue to eat and burn the same number of calories just by increasing the quality of their carbs fats and proteins.
Agree with his weight-training stuff, but it's a little bit exaggerated. No need to hate on cardio, much better just to encourage and educate on resistance training. No-one tells endurance athletes that a) they're fat, and b) that they're doing too much cardio. Cardio is not bad, it's just not the best way to (sustainably) lose weight.
1/3 really ain't great.0 -

He's ok. Better than most of the advice I've seen on here.
However, he's quite wrong in regards to popcorn.
The Glucose Index I've seen is between 55 and 65 - the low end of medium, the load between 6 and 10 - pretty durned low. And it's pretty filling for most people.0
