I'm in! Not sure what my aims should be - I reckon I'll take inspiration from other people's aims. Yesterday I did 150 crunches which was a mix of regular, reverse and oblique crunches.

I really need to work on my abs so this is one for me:)

I was thinking that this was just what I needed. I HATE working abs but it's also the part I need to work the most!

Funny thing is...We all have abs - they are just under a layers of fat...! :grumble:

You can't focus just on the abs part...- you need to focus on workin' the whole core area...You need to eat clean, eat the right foods, you need to get your cardio & strength trainin' in as well...

Power90 & P90X LEAN has done wonders for me & I am just on DAY 60 of P90X LEAN...Once I graduate on June 4 - I will be joinin' a group of people to do P90X CLASSIC...

Best wishes on gettin' that layer of fat off those abs

I regulary do ~50 incline crunches (25x1+15x2) everyday - that's what my 1hr mis of strength and cardio session allows. Hope I can bring more varioation in the allocated time for this...

Ok, I'm in - think I'll do the abs workout from 10 minute solutions, "belly but and thigh blasters tonight"
My knee is wrecked at the moment from Level 2 of the 30 day shred, so I need to do something without lunges for a day or two and my abs could do with toning up a bit.

I'm game! I'm going to do abs 4 times a week now! I have a family cruise in less than three weeks!!
Just like every other muscle, the core needs a break between workouts, which is why I'm doing every other day. I plan on doing 8 minute and and Chris freytags core workout (free ondemand!)

    Let's get it doneee

SO true...my diet is a lot of what is holding my ab progress back. Although I do know I am weak in that area too.

Did 150 crunches again last night. I'm just having to crunch it out until I buy an ab workout. I think doing crunches of various types on top of the 30 DS is ok for the minute though...

I have really struggled to stay motivated to do Abs work.

After completing the 100 pushups challenge (http://hundredpushups.com/) and really enjoying it, I have started the 200 Situps Challenge (http://www.twohundredsitups.com/) a few times and never kept it up.

So maybe you guys can help motivate me to work my abs on a regular basis.

Would you reccommend it? I'm doing the 30 DS and am looking for something new to do when I finish. How long is it?

Wasn't able to do abs yesterday because my abs were still sore from 2 days ago, I'm going to hopefully do them today.

I know it works too because you can see that it sort of starts getting rid of the outer sides to the inner middle, also slims top to the pooch at the bottom

Perfect Abs (8 & 9 min abs workouts, 10 diff workouts)

Perfect Core (8 & 9 min abs workouts, 10 diff workouts)

p90x Ab ripper (15 min abs workout - I don't own it, just hearsay on it - dunno if it contains just 1 wo or more)

I would definitely recomend it as it's a great cardio and toning tool. She gives great suggestions as to how to make the exercises more difficult as you get better at them too. See my profile pics for progress pictures. I'm halfway through so my current picture is them at the halfway point.

I dont' think I have abs anymore. I can't find them anywhere. BUT once I do find them, I'm in. I am looking at a Pilates DVD for inspiration.
Why is that they all start off bone thin? Where's Richard Simmons when you need him?

This is definitely what I need!!! I need to burn some fat which seems to have gravitated right in my mid-section. I think I may try 6 week 6 pack in the morning...It's free on demand ;)

    Good luck everyone!

I'm committed to doing abs tonight! I think I'll do them right now! Just did it for 9 mins! Yay. This routine on the Perfect Abs dvd used to kill me. It didn't kill me! Might be time to buy Ab Ripper X (gulp!)
