Too many probiotics?

I was wondering, is it possible to take too many probiotics, and if so, what is "too many"?

I started taking probiotics about a month ago and they have really helped my bathroom habits. When I first started them, I guess I misread the label, because I thought it said take two, twice a day. When I bought another bottle (because I ran out), I realized it really said take two (2) daily with food. So I have been taking double of what it said. Like I said though, it has been really helping, so was curious if continuing the two, twice a day would be bad, or if I could safely continue.

Hey, so cool you are taking probiotics! I love them they have helped my bathroom habits, my immune system (havent been sick in a year and a half) and my allergies even. I would really suggest sticking with the suggested dose but there really isnt any harm in taking alot of probiotics, I would say stick with the suggested dose and if you want more then get them from natural sources. Hope I helped. Keep up the great work!

I agree with this. I only take 2-3 of them a week, but they have improved my digestive health as well. As long as you don't have notice any adverse effects from them you should be fine.

Cut back to recommended dosage and you'll likely have the same results, but there really isn't an issues at 2x that. Just tossing money out the window.
