drinking water doesn't directly correlate to weight loss...what it does do is keep you hydrated which flushes retained fluids and other *kitten* from your body as well as help you keep your hormones in check...said hormones do have an impact on how well your body functions, including your metabolism.
Being hydrated is a good thing for your body in general...there is more to health and fitness than just some number on a scale.0 -
In my body, yes.
Over the past few weeks I've been drinking 2.5l of water a day, I managed to lose 2.5lbs a week. This week Monday-Wednesday I slacked a lot with my water intake, my weight went up by 3lbs. I've maanged to drink 2.5l of water each day since Thursday and I'm now lower than I was last Sunday.0 -
I drink lots of water (8-12 glasses, plus coffee, tea, milk, soups and water-rich produce) and it definitely makes me feel better but not fuller or less hungry in any way.0

Obviously, if you drink plain water instead of sodas with sugar in them, it would make a difference, but the recommendations for drinking water include things like coffee and tea, which are just water with stuff added to them. As long as you're hydrated, there's no reason to force yourself to drink water.0

I have an app (water my body) that works how much water you should have for your weight. I find that at first I added but know after a few works back to were I was. I sometimes don't hit target but I am at 81% most days. I feel a lot better, skin softer and fuller. Also find that I wee a lot more so if I now I am going out my not drink as much that day but also find it easier to move my bowels as before finding I would go about once every 5days and then sometimes had to take something to help.0
