Ouuuuuuuch!
I'm sure the majority of you will feel my pain....but...has anyone got any tips on what to do to reduce this soreness? I feel like its negatively impacting my workouts for the following 2days - even basic cardio! Any tips/help would be amazing xx

Make sure your nutrition is on point. Recovery is much easier when you're well fed. Walking also really helps the soreness.

I dunno, I get some bad DOMS but the next day is a different body part, and cardio feels fine and actually kind of good the day after leg day.

I don't know how long you have been doing legs but I found time is the key. For the first couple of months day after leg day was very uncomfortable. As the months pass the day after seems less painful. Doubt it will ever be not noticeable, but it is very tolerable after a year.

A massage if you can afford it. Foam roller a cheap option.

    Ibuprofen.

    Ice, then heat.

I have a vibration plate you stand on that helps.

It gets better after the first few weeks. Your muscles are in wtf! Mode right now.

Keep doing it. DOMS gets better over time -- if you keep at it.
We have a vibration plate at the gym where I go. It is the silliest piece of equipment in the world. It is like those old shaker belts! But it is kinda fun. I stand on it every once in a while and I don't care who knows it!

I was a regular crossfitter for about a year but then suffered from back injury and have been out for 7months :(
I've only been back about a month or so...I just can't ever remember being this sore and I'm so impatient!
Thanks for all the advice hun :)

Did you hurt your back doing cross fit? Is that what you are back to?

"Wtf mode" is a definite way to describe it!
Thanks for the help - will definitely try the Vibro plates in the gym! :)

Nope! I had a fall and ended up having to have a lumbar puncture and months of physio :(
I'd never go back to crossfit now anyway!
Far too aggressive for me at the moment! :)
