I'm female & a beginner at strength training, can anyone give me any advice??

  • I'm 5ft 1 & wish to be quite lean with definition, work at getting a toned tiny waist yet keep my hips/thighs/butt but just tone these :)

    Starting off with lighter weights. Ensuring you have good form, because form triumphs over reps!

    Supposedly it's also lighter weight and more reps for toning, and then heavier weight but less reps for muscle building.

    There's an app called Gym Shuffle that has different workouts for toning, endurance, strength, etc. Also, it varies the workouts to help against monotony.
