How many calories are you eating under your maintenance?

I throw this question to everybody, and there is a reason, but I need some answers before.
How many calories, below your daily maintenance, are you eating every day? And if possible, how much weight have you lost since you started.
Thank you.

Around 250 below now. I'm at 1/2lb loss per week. I've lost 29lbs so far, and I started March 2014. I've had my loss set at .5lb/week for most of this past year, because I wanted to do it slowly.
I'm a 5'4 female as well.0 -

Huh?!? As for second part I am trying to stay at. 1000 cal deficit for now. I've lost 46 lbs.0 -
In, just because I know this isn't going to turn out well..
But to answer the OP, about 600 calories. Eat 2400, maintain at
20lbs loss since I reset my tracker.0 -
250-500.
86 lbs lost.0 -
About 400 under maintenance.0
-
Can you people add how long have you been doing it please...0
-
I lost 86 lbs in 12 months.0
-
My weekly deficit is around 4000 calories. Have lost 11kgs ( 24lbs ) in 3mths0
-
Right now I am averaging about 330 below maintenance. It changes from time to time though. I've lost 52 lbs. over the past year.0
-
Somewhere around 400, on average. Aiming for 0.8lbs/week weight loss. I've lost 22lbs since I started in mid-October, but the first 10 came off quick (suspect mostly water) and it slowed down to a steadier pace after that.
I'm only 5'1" and my total goal was 40lbs. So I'm just over halfway there. Taking it slow and hoping to lose the pounds for good.0 -
my below varies at between 50-600. I guess never paid too much attention. I started back up on January 4th. So 20 days. I've lost 5 pounds sense I started again0

I feel like I have become a statistic. Lmao
0 cals under now.
70lbs
8 months0 -
Hard to say because it depends on how much I work out. At the moment I think averaging about 300.
Been doing it for a year, lost 95 lbs, obviously my deficit has been higher in the past.0 -
To maintain I need around 2400, and I am eating about 1500-2000 (depending on my activity level)0
-
I'm about 350 calories under my actual maintenance, not what MFP thinks, but what it actually is. That is not counting the exercise which is another 350 per day. I am losing about 2.5 lbs per week.0
-
I average anywhere between 300 to 1500 per day, depending on exercise.
I am eating all I really want. I don't see the need to eat more just because the number says to.0 -

No offense but 300!is waaaaay to low for a male.0 -
600-750 is about the running average for my current streak.
Current streak is 202 days.
246 days in 2013, had to take a 9 month break.
Prior to that, I lost some weight without counting calories but I was severely restricting my food intake (6 months or so in 2012). Severe restrictions didn't work long term for me. I lost some weight, but I did eventually lose the will to continue and gained a bit back (not all).0 -

3500 x 2.5 = 8750 calories per week deficit.
That's an average of 1250 per day, not 700.
Either your maintenance is 550 higher than you think it is, or you're underestimating your exercise burn, or overestimating your calories.
Because math.0 -

I'm sorry, that wasn't clear. I meant a 300 to 1500 calorie deficit. I'm eating at least 2000 calories a day.0 -
I eat between 200 and 500 calories under maintenance, most days. I have lost 18 pounds in 11 weeks of active calorie counting. To focus on other things, I took eight weeks off in the middle of this and stayed at, or around, maintenance during that time. Not sure where this is heading, but I'm hoping you aren't trying to sell us anything.0

When I started in March of 2012, I didn't really go off of my maintenance, but if I had to guess, probably about 1,000 per day, if I went off of lean body mass to calculate my maintenance. Dropped from 291 to 184(107lb loss) from March 7th, 2012, to early February, 2013. Lost the dedication for some reason for about a year, went back up to about 210, then I started a new gym membership in February 2014, but didn't start eating in a deficit again until about November 2014. I'm down to 175.6 as of this morning, for a total loss of about 115lbs since March 7th, 2012. Currently at about a 700 calorie a day deficit(besides leg day, I add about 50g of carbs on leg day, which cuts the deficit to about 500) , soon to start decreasing that to closer to 250 per day until I'm satisfied with what I see. This is also not factoring in the hour and a half to two hours of weightlifting that I've been doing four times per week.
Long story short? 115lbs lost since March 7th, 2012. Between 700-1,000 per day deficit.
P.S. I lost about 70lbs before I signed up for MFP, that's why my profile only says 44lbs lost.0 -

ohhh! Haha. That makes more sense lol.0 -
I link my FitBit Charge HR and go off that. 5'4", F, 29. Trying to drop 10-15 from 129. -750 per day goal, happy with -600 to -800 except the day before my long run. Then I eat around -200. Run about 35 miles per week. Haven't dropped in 3 weeks though.0

Obviously I've missed something here....0

MFP says I am eating 730 calories below my maintenance. I also workout and don't eat back those calories. I have lost 51 pounds since September 22.
I live for the moment you tell us your "reason".0
