I've got a fit bit and have made a very big effort to up my steps ..
.I've went from between 7 and 10 thousand to 20 thousand a day
I follow this with a healthy eating plan...
However after all this ive still not lost a pound which I find really odd surely I should loose something ? I'm not going over on my calories as I'm quite strict breakfast porridge, lunch chicken in a lettuce wrap , dinner salmon and greens I pretty much follow the same eating plan ....
it's been three weeks wondering if I'm wasting my time upping my steps so much ...
I decided to walk more as I love walking ...anyone have any ideas can it take a while to come off
I'm only looking to loose ten pounds it's so frustrating ..

I can't see how I am overestimating ..a bowl of porridge with two tablespoons of oat bran ,some milk and two spoons of Greek yogurt , one chicken breast with tomato and cucumber and lettuce ,one salmon fillet with a packet of green beans surely that's not over on calories ? Or a healthy eating dinner premade with no more than 400 cal0

In your diary you have absolutely no food tracked except for an apple on 1/14. You could be over eating an not realize it.
Also- with only 10 lbs to lose, you should be aiming for a maximum .5 lb a week.
What are your stats?0 -
Sorry should say I don't track because when I'm on a diet I eat the same thing every day to help me stay on track ive used my fitness pal in the past few years and know what to eat I don't lie to myself and I'm pretty strict ! I don't snack I don't drink and I know for sure I can't be going over 1200 cals a day0

And do you weigh your food every time? You really should try to vary your diet to get a wide range of nutrients, minerals, fats etc.
And what are your settings set to because you should be aiming for about 0.5lb a week. Although eating less than 1200 a day and walking 20K steps plus does not work .. looks like if your figures are correct you'd be netting around 700 which is ridiculously low for weight loss

If you don't weigh your food, no you can't be certain of that. Even though you "eat the same thing" everyday, does not mean you are aging the same calories everyday. You could easily be having more than you think you are.0
