I just got a Ninja Blender. I am a blender Noobie. I appreciate any and all soup or smoothie/shake recipes. Also opinions of putting raw oats in the smoothies.

I've been starting out with smoothies on my Ninja. I like this one so far:
2 cups raw spinach
2 cups almond or coconut milk
1 cup frozen mango
1 banana
2 tablespoons wheat germ (optional)
First blend the spinach and milk until well blended. Add the mango and blend. And slices of the banana and wheat germ and blend. I list the wheat germ as optional, since it's a little gritty and not everyone likes that.
I consider 1/2 as one serving and save the rest for up to 36 hours.0 -
One of my favorites is the SPINACH, BANANA, PEANUT BUTTER, PROTEIN SHAKE
It's high in nutrients and great for anytime of the day. There's only 230 calories.
2 big handfuls fresh baby spinach
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Blend together
Add:
1/2 banana
1 TBSP peanut butter
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Ice to preference
Blend together well
Serve
Enjoy. I'm hoping that you're able to get lots of yummy recipes so I can use them to.0 -

Cut a butternut squash in half, scoop out the seeds, place face down on baking pan, bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees, remove from the oven and let cool down enough to touch without burning yourself. Remove the skin and cut into cubes.
In a pan on the stove top heat some coconut milk. Add the butternut squash and coconut milk, salt, pepper to the blender. Other spices are optional. Blend and pour into a bowl and drizzle some sriracha over the top and serve.0 -

Thanks! Sorry I'm mobile and couldn't figure out how to get back here. Lol. Probably a silly question, but is coconut milk really coconutty? I'm not a coconut fan.0
