What can I spread on my rice cake that has a lower calorie count than the tablespoon of peanut butter that I have been using? Any ideas would be most welcome!

Um, laughing cow cheese, duh! :) I eat two rice cakes with a wedge of laughing cow cheese every single day. 35 calories.

I've currently been having two white cheddar rice cakes (90 Calories), spread with a laughing cow light cheese wedge (35 Calories), two slices of provolone (140 Calories), and garnished with Parmesan cheese (20-ish Calories) as a snack. It's really nice when microwaved for a few seconds and helps me meet my fat macros.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm sure I could make mini pizzas with a similar recipe (marinara sauce with mozzarella slices, meat slices and veggies, and some Parmesan cheese) toasted in the toaster oven or nuked in the microwave as a snack.

I never thought about putting something on my rice cakes. I always eat them plain.

OMG yes! I have them everyday too. My favorites are buttered popcorn rice cake with the jalapeno Laughing Cow. 70 calories for 1 rice cake a 1 Laughing Cow cheese wedge.

I use rice cakes in place of bread for anything. I put BBQ sauce and Ham and Cheese and micro them. I put Jif whipped PB (half calories of regular) with strawberry preserves and whipped cream. mini-pizza, fried egg and cheese, etc.

I agree. I just found this stuff and although it isn't exactly the same as regular peanut butter, it's pretty close. I'm very picky, and I loved it! It kind of reminded me of the peanut butter in Reeses. A little grainy, and a little less potent on flavor, but still delicious.

I havent been able to get myself to like this, not sure why yet. But I did find that using the "Whipped" PB (Jif), I get half the calories and it tastes much more like real PB!

I just use them to prop up my table leg so it doesn't wobble.

...Sorry not a fan of rice cakes here. :p
