I really need advice on what's the best muscle groups to work on togethor & how to split them up between days. I really always end up doing the same thing every workout & do alittle of everything and I know it doesn't give my muscles a rest day.

Why don't you do a full body routine 3x a week?

that's basically what I usually do but I hear it's better to split up the muscles? Or does both work fairly good?

If you're doing a good routine, it's fine. SL 5x5 is one I believe.

I personally do a 4 day split, and even as a complete beginner I didn't do full body-though it is usually suggested.

gotcha! well I wouldn't consider myself anywhere near a begginer. I'm already relatively really toned & cut, I just wasn't sure if it'd be best if I start splitting them up & focusing more on each one. I get into the same routine & I know once your body's used to that it doesn't do much

Then try wendler's 5/3/1 three or four day split.
