For those new to this, you can bookmark the post using the star at the right of the topic...above the page numbers.

Just click the star at the top right of the page...between the gear and the bell each week to come back to the post.

You can also recover your posts using the following link; inserting your user name in the "user#" AND the "username" spaces. Good luck everyone. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/profile/comments/user#/username

I'm in! I just completed the January challenge, losing more than my goal of 8-10lbs for the month. I finished with a 12.8lb loss, and I feel that the challenge motivated me more than anything. Checking in each week was fun, and seeing everyone posting their stats kept me going. Looking forward to a new challenge each month. Good luck to all

Good Morning!!! And Happy 1st February!!! Oh....and most importantly....welcome along to our February challenge. As I mentioned at the start of this thread, I did a January challenge and it really helped so that's why I started this. I'm really looking forward to updating every week and seeing everyone's progress.

And as extra motivation for myself & everyone else, here's my results from January:

    Jan 1st: 181lbs (12st 13lbs), BMI 30.2 (obese), Body Fat 42.3%
    Feb 1st: 167.5lbs (11st 13.5lbs), BMI 27.9 (overweight), Body Fat 37.5%

So, that's a loss of 13.5lbs, a drop of 2.3 BMI points and a drop of 4.8% Body Fat in one calendar month!!! Not bad, eh? I also lost 17 inches from my whole body (inc. 5.5 inches from my belly!). So, I'm a very happy girl!!!!

Here's to a successful February whatever your goals....lets do this!

    Name: Maria
    Age: 42
    Height: 5'5"
    Start weight (1st Feb): 167.5lbs
    Goal weight (1st March): 160lbs

    Weigh ins:

    1st Feb: 167.5lbs
    8th Feb:
    15th Feb:
    22nd Feb:
    1st March:

    Weight loss/gain this week: N/A
Weight loss/gain so far this month: N/A

    Struggles/successes this week:

Feeling motivated after a fabulous result in January. Being conservative about my February goal as I know weight loss slows after that initial big drop. But I think I can manage a steady 2lbs per week on average. Anything more will be a bonus!

Thanks!!! I couldn't believe it when I got on the scales this morning!!! And being 11 stone something rather than 12 stone something makes a huge psychological difference to me. The January thread really helped but I kickstarted everything with a sober January and laid off the sugar too.
