Simply mulch the following in a blender and freeze it. Amazingly simple and effective replacement for ice cream. Or, don't freeze it - makes a great dish with a yogurt like consistency.

1 banana
1/3 cup strawberries
1/3 cup blue berries
1/3 cup grapes

It's yummy!

(my loving wife makes this for me )

skinny cow makes really good ice cream bars for about 100 calories...and they are YUMMY! Also, when I really crave a thick and creamy ice cream I go to McDonalds...yes, I said it, McDonalds bc their vanilla cone is only 150 calories!

And the frozen fruits sound delicious also! I'm going to have to try that!
  • that does sound really good!

    Oh - the calories:

    banana - 105
    strawberries - 12
    Blue Berries - 23
    Grapes - 15

    Total - 155

Oh - and one more thing - use frozen berries and grapes and non-frozen banana. The banana gives the texture.

You can also use just slightly frozen banana, with no other ingredients: bananas have just enough fat to become creamy at low temperatures.
