So I work on my basement today for 6 hrs. I looked up how many calories I burned and it said over 1,000. Lol. That's hard too believe!!! Lol what's everyone's thoughts? Could that really be true.

    Yep. I work out on a elliptical machine and burn 1,000 calories in about 70 minutes. If your basement looks like mine it is probably true lol.

    1000 gross, maybe. Assuming you were honest-to-God working for that entire six hours. Then knock off 6 hours of your RMR from that. So, maybe 500 net.

    Oh I sure did.. Lol I've been wanting to get it down for ever now! Lol. So I was pretty determined! :)) have more work to do down there tomorrow. I just couldn't believe 1,000 calories!

    Pawwithme thanks for your responds. I would love to get a elliptical sometime. I have a treadmill and I go to the ymca a lot.
