initial weight loss

I started using MFP January 5th and have been using the guideline of 1200 calories that MFP suggested based on my weight and a target of 2lbs loss a week.
I normally stick to 1200 - 1400 calories a day with no exercise at all. However I have lost 14lbs in 29 days.
Whilst I'm not complaining, am I doing something wrong? Should I up my calories?
Thanks

I would definitely up your calories. 1200 is really low and gives you nowhere to cut from if you plateau. If you have been going up to 1400 and losing a ton without exercise I would try going to 1600 calories. Also I would add exercise as well as that's going to help you get stronger and more fit. Hope this helps!0

What is your current height & weight and what is your goal weight?
1200 may be appropriate, it may not be. 2 lb/ week may be appropriate, it may not be.0 -
Echoing above in regards to stats and goals.
Since you started making changes a month ago, a huge amount will be a drop in water weight initially. It will stabilize and weight loss will slow after a while.0 -
Im around 5ft 9 and now I'm 209lbs.
I've always been able to lose (and gain!) weight quickly. I often put on half a stone in a week and lose it the next. Classic yoyo dieter
Although I lost 3 stone last year, this is my first attempt at calorie counting so I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong. I weigh everything and literally didn't exercise at all so couldn't see why the loss was so big.
I started boot camp this week (4 sessions a week) and whilst I don't plan on eating back any calories burnt, I don't really want to lose any faster than I am currently. So I need to figure out what I'm doing wrong pre exercise I guess0 -

You aren't doing anything wrong. You are less than one month in, and the initial huge drop was water weight. It will stabilize.
You will want to eat back partially your exercise calories. You want to net what MFP tells you to eat per day. Your calorie goal is with no exercise factored in.0
