Stopped losing Weight

I am a 34 year old female. My BMR is 1,566. I lost 20 lbs Sept through December. Since December I haven't lost any more weight, though I have lost 2 in from my waist and 2 or 3 inches from my hips.
I am Type 1 diabetic and very familiar with tracking what I eat (I've been doing it for 25 years, way before it became cool! lol), so I am fairly confident that I am acurately tracking my food intake. My goal is 1,200 net calories (only because MyFitnessPal won't let me do less, and I get hungry). I go to the gym 5+ days per week. I waitress the other 2 night per week. I have a FitBit Charge HR (only for the last 3 weeks) and monitor HR for all workouts. I am doing cardio 2 x per week and strength training 3 x per week.
Despite all my good behavior and my lost inches, I have not lost any weight in the past month. I would like to lose another 15-25 lbs.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

@malibu927, while I understand the request, I would prefer to keep my food diary private. I can tell you that I log everything...right down to the creamer, salad dressing, and butter. I am cognizant of good cars/bad carbs and good/fats and bad fats. My diet, most days, does achieve the MyFitnessPal goals of 50% carbs 30% fat and 20% protein.
I am 5'6" and 177 lbs this morning.
@VeryKatie, Weight matters in that I am at the very upper end of the "overweight" of the BMI category and everything I read says I should weigh somewhere between 125 and 140. I figure if I can achieve 150 that will be quite a feat for me. In addittion, less weight means lower insulin requirements, means fewer complications from the diabetes.0 -

Do you use a food scale to see how much you're eating? Especially when you're eating those higher calorie items, you could easily be consuming more than you think.0 -
Try lowering your carbs a little (if you can due to your diabetis). That did the trick for me. My macros are set for 45% carbs, 30% protein and 25% fat, and that works like a charm.0

Hi! I am also a type 1 diabetic who is also -slowly- losing weight.
This might sound like a stupid question, but are you accurately logging hypoglycemia treatment and adjusting insulin dosages to account for increased insulin sensitivity due to the weight loss? A lot of times, my weight loss tends to go really steady for a few weeks, I lose 5-10 pounds, and then all of a sudden it stops. When I compare what I eat on a "no loss" phase compared to a "loss" phase, I noticed that I tend to experience a lot more hypoglycemia during periods where I am not losing a ton of weight. Once I contact my endo, solidify my basals (currently in the process of lowering basals now. It seems like I need to lower my basal by 10% for every 5-10 pounds lost), and minimize hypoglycemia, I resume a normal weight loss pace.0 -

Not a stupid question at all. And now that you mention it I may not be fully recording the hypoglycemia treatments. I've been sort of thinking of it as a "it dsoesn't count against my net calories because I obviously burned enough calories to necessitate this extra food". But you make a good point. I think what you are telling me is that if my basal rate is too high I will have to eat more calories than ideal weight loss calories reduction to keep from going low...lower the basal and I can reduce calories/have less lows. Duh! I didn't really think of this.
I went to the Endo last week and my overall insulin needs have decreased 5 units per day. My A1c went from 10.9 to 8.5. But my basil is 60% of total and bolus 40% of total. Used to be closer to 50/50. My doctor didn't say anthing about it. I have adjusted my carb ratio (was 10:1, now 12:1) as I lose weight. Time to look at that basal rate.

To an extent. The basal rate is designed to keep your BG at a steady level while at a fasting state. If your basal is too high, you might experience constant hypoglycemia (and then must eat calories in order to bring it up). If your basal is too low, you might experience constant hyperglycemia (and then increase your chances of developing diabetes-related complications). You cannot simply say that you want to get rid of all your basal insulin, unless you want a three-night all-inclusive stay in ICU for DKA.

I suppose I should have elaborated... since you're losing inches, something IS happening... so I should say you should just keep doing what you're doing and you'll likely start to see actual weight loss again. Since you're seeing some results in terms of inches (and quite a bit I might add), you probably could continue as you are for another 2 months and then if both weight and inches stall for a month, come back... I should really have said more haha.0
