I'm going to join too... Need to weigh myself, so as soon as I'm done I'll put all my details in. Thankyou for organising this, I'm hoping it will motivate me!
I was told I am in remission from my battle with cancer yesterday and so I need to make sure I live my life to the fullest and losing a bit of weight to help me feel good about my body and look good in a bikini for our celebration holiday is the way to go!!!! Xx0

Woo! Let's lose it! I originally lost 80 pounds about 2 years ago. I gained 20-25 of it back. I'm not okay with that. Not okay with that at all! It needs to go (again) and then some!0

And....welcome to everyone else who has joined us....and again....sorry that this is a general post. I have read all your posts but can't reply to each one individually, as much as I'd love to. Feel free to send me a FR is you like though....just put a note on it saying 'February thread' or something so I know how you know me.
 Just a couple of things....
Someone asked re: updating each week - the easiest thing to do is to copy & paste your original post then edit as needed.
Some people mentioned comfort eating due to stress, boredom, anxiety and depression plus finding motivation difficult - I can totally relate....I gained 3 stone (42lbs) over a few years because of comfort eating & stress drinking and have struggled most of my adult life with depression & anxiety (only diagnosed 5 years ago after my 2nd baby was born v. prematurely and we almost lost him - he's fine now BTW!). Anyway....I know how hard it is to battle mental illness and that just getting through the day is sometimes exhausting but eating well and exercising does help....even a walk can lift your spirits. Personally, running is what helps me. Anyway, I'm no expert so can only speak from personal experience but I hope you are getting the medical help you need and support from friends & family.
So....whatever you situation and goals....welcome along and good luck!!!!0

I just finished the January challenge with some great results and I'm so happy to have found a new one for February! I tend to get frustrated when my weight doesn't decrease, so I'm aiming low and will be focusing more on my measurements. I'm on my second half of Les Mills combat and hoping to keep the motivation up so I can finish

I love it! I don't dread it like I do normal workouts because you get to punch and kick most of the time. They always fly by, even the 60 minute ones! I've been looking into Pump - that has different instructors, right? Is there a good mix of cardio in that, or would you mix it with some Combat videos?0

Struggles/successes this week: Thank you so much for the February challenge. I did succeed in January with my challenge goal. This truly helps hold me accountable with practicing portion control. Although, my biggest struggle for this week will be applying portion control skills. I have had such a sweet tooth. My personal goals are to work out more strenuously and to be more mindful of what I eat.

I do about the same of each class, pump you use weights with lots of reps, but still gets you're heart rate up. I really feel a difference with it. I think a good mix if the 2 is perfect as you then get lots or cardio and some strength and toning work. Good luck.
