Hi everyone!
I've recently been taking MCT oil in my coffee in the morning after a lot of reading about it's health benefits and possible weight loss benefits.
However, through all of my research I cannot find anything on dosage! (I take one TBS in the AM with my coffee, but should I be taking more at any other point in the day for maximum benefits?)
Thanks!!

I usually do one tablespoon in the morning. I try not to mix fats & carbs, to me that's a recipe for disaster. The bottle says 1-3 servings per day, so you can actually do like 3 tablespoons. I just wouldn't do them all at once, it can cause a laxative effect!!0

Haven't looked for a few years but remember reading that the benefits if MCT's are in the 40% of total calorie consumption..... basically a vlcd and then consuming mostly MCT's.......otherwise pretty much someone taking advantage of it and selling a promise.
All the hoopla is based on how MCT are metabolised, which is to say they get converted to energy much like a carb, but dosage is key.0 -

Hmmm. Interesting. I'm terrible at math so in trying to figure out what exactly that means in terms of how much I should be taking? Lol
