I just downloaded the app, I'm expected to get my device on Tuesday. However, I am trying to figure out how to add my mom as a friend because she got a fitbit for Christmas. Does anyone know how to do this?

    From the FitBit dashboard, you should have a tile that lists your friends. It may be blank, but there will be a way to search for friends using Facebook or sending an invitation by mail. Just send an email invitation, and have them respond to it. Easy!

    At the top of your Fitbit profile page you will see a line that starts, "Profile as viewed by you..." This is followed by your public URL. If you have a your mom's public URL you just go to that and you will see an Add Friend button.
