Want to lose ten (stubborn) pounds!

Hello everyone! I have had a love/ hate relationship with food my entire life. My weight has fluctuated a lot, and I get I to bad cycles of binging. I have a big event (the launch party for my first book!) on March 26th, and I have a goal to lose ten pounds by then! I heard this app is great and Rhys the community is awesome, so I thought I'd reach out and say hello! I wish everyone strength and success in your own journeys!

  • First, congrats on the book!!! That's awesome!!!
    Yea those last couple of pounds are the worst to get rid of but I believe you have enough time to do it before ur event. Just do it in a heathy matter so the weight stays off.

    As for the binging, i tend to binge when I'm stressed, sad or bored. So keep yourself as happy as possible and try not to get stressed out. Stay healthy, you can do it!!!!

    Thank you!! I really appreciate he encouragement! It's such a small amount of weight in many regards, but it carries more "weight" emotionally I think. This app helps- I read a very thoughtful, useful article on the MyFitnessPal blog today about binging and it really have me some things to think about. If you missed it, you should check it out!

    Thank you! Trust me- if the photo was in a bikini things would appear differently! I just want to lose a little excess fat around the tummy and tone up everything else.

    Lift heavy things. Repeatedly. Looks like you are at the appropriate weight, just would prefer a bit of firming. Eat at a slight deficiency, and follow a program like Strong Lifts. By summer, you'll be bikini ready.
