Hey guys, so yesterday I ended up pushing myself a little too far. I have arthritis and I did too much. Now both ankles are really swollen but I still want to work out! I don't want this to be a setback.

Does anyone know of any cardio exercises I can do while I recover?

I have a foot injury and I can still cycle and row. Perhaps one or both would work for you.

Yeah, cycling rowing and swimming I'd say.

If you can't do that, I guess you could design some sort of really intense hiit upper body circuit to get a cardio burn.

You could do some calisthenic exercises like bicycles (hips on hands feet in air), scissor kicks, supermans, swimmers, crunches, knee pushups, chair dips, etc.

I know how you feel. Tib-fib fractures a week ago. Wah. Thanks for the tips johjeff.
