Not sure what happened this week, but had whoosh day mid-week that dropped 3 pounds overnight. Was unbelievably hungry the day before and pigged out on baked salmon, cod, and asparagus. Woke up 3 times that night and have held the loss without changing my 1500-1700 daily intake. WooHoo!

    Weigh ins:

    1st Feb: 250.0
    8th Feb:245.2
    15th Feb:
    22nd Feb:
    1st March:

    Weight loss/gain this week:4.8
Weight loss/gain so far this month:4.8

Struggles: Really wanting to drench my salads with ranch dressing, but sticking to my low-fat Italian.

Successes: Finally hit the last hole in my belt... May be breaking out the drill bits soon to make new ones. Also not having to stretch out my shirts in the morning. May seem silly, but that feels awesome!

    1st March:

    Weight loss/gain this week:2.8
Weight loss/gain so far this month:2.8

Struggles/successes this week: Almost 3 pounds, yay! Had a great week, ate well, didn't feel restricted, and even had a free/cheat day on Friday with pizza and wine (and dropped a half a pound the next morning, go figure). Exercised 4 days, which was my goal.

Goal for the next week: Would like to see another 1.5 pound loss. Want to move into more heavy lifting, since I felt my best when I used to do that. Currently only have 15 pound dumbells, so I need to pick up a bar and bench since I'm not looking to have a gym membership right now. Concerned since my lower back is spasming like it might go out this morning, after having a week with less pains than I've had in a year. :(

Start weight (1st Feb):161.5 - (started in Nov at 174)
Goal weight (1st March):155 - (Big target 140-135 - 135 would finally put me in the healthy BMI group. I haven't weighed that in 38 yrs but you never know)

    Weigh ins:

    1st Feb:160
    8th Feb: 159.5
    15th Feb:
    22nd Feb:
    1st March:

Weight loss/gain this week: -.5 - not very much, but no gain
Weight loss/gain so far this month: -.5

Struggles/successes this week: Struggle - someone brought in Homemade German Chocolate cake. Yep, had a small piece but that was my breakfast and so worth it. Though probably not nutritional as it should be :). Success - my after work walking group is gaining members so getting others involved and having to motivate them is great in getting me to work my booty.

Good for you Carri. Don't overdo. One small step will still get you there. As the weight comes off your back will thank you but not if you abuse it. Maybe you can work in exercises for your back on days you're not doing your planned workout. MFP posted some today in fact. Be safe cuz if you hurt you won't be able to do any workouts.

I forgot to post when this started, so here it is. This definitely helps keep me motivated. My starting weight two months ago was 280, and even though it's not easy, giving up is not an option! Hope everyone reaches their goals!

    Struggles/successes this week:
Struggled with wanting to binge on chip shop stodge. I was even halfway to a chip shop before a reality check kicked in. Found I was hungry some days within my cal limit.
Success was my reality check that made me reconsider the chip shop binge. Also got back into training properly this week with a strength training session, 2 swim sessions and a bike/run combo session.

Struggles/successes this week: I was actually pretty pleased with myself - I used my journal to jot down all my feelings and food, logged all my food using MFP, and didn't go bonkers even though it's that dreaded "TOM" (time of month) for me. The journal has especially helped out, as well as staying in motion when I want to binge.

Struggles/successes this week: I've managed to actually stay (relatively) on track this week, and managed to lose a bit, which is always exciting! I guess my biggest struggles were exercise (I only exercised twice) and resisting late night snacking when others were eating. For the coming week, I will focus on eating less more often so I'm not always alternating between being super full and super hungry.

Good luck everyone- you can do it! We've done a week, we can do a few more! :+1:
