  I would highly suggest adding friends and reading the community forum. It helps so much with motivation.

  Same here. I have just recently gotten into the community part of MFP and I think it helps with motivation and accountability.

  Thanks guys can I ask what's the recommendations on cals to have per day , I'm on 1500 is that too much ? X

  Here is a calculator to figure calories to maintain weight, and then decrease it a thousand calories a day to lose 2 pounds a week.
