I love pasta but white pasta gives me terrible gas. I have opted for whole wheat and it seems to be better for me. It does not taste as good but it is better than being bloated!

If it fits into my macros, yes. But I rather just eat bread instead!

    errr.. yes

    I don't know what's behind the question

I mean if it's is pasta good to eat, the answer is depends what you put on it

if it's pasta, does it make a good bonding agent for ceramic repair then I'd have to say no

I made this over the weekend and it was great. And no heavy sauces http://www.theslowroasteditalian.com/2014/03/one-pot-cheesy-pasta-and-sausage-recipe.html

I'm still avoiding it because it was such a weak spot for me, but I think I am at a point I could have a little just as long as there is plenty of filling protein, fat and veg with it. Definitely not in a restaurant though....portions too big.

I used to be able to eat several servings of pasta and still be hungry. ...or hungry in an hour or so which meant shoveling more calories.

Yes! Just portion it out. We have been tossing hot pasta with Costco's Fire Roasted Tomatoes in Olive Oil. So delicious.

I eat whole wheat pasta twice per week. Just portion it out. 70 grams for me.

    why not?

just eat it in proper portions and make it work with the rest of your day...i fail to see the issue.

If you want pasta, eat pasta. But as with everything else: log accurately and honestly.

If you can fit it in, why not?

Personally, I don't usually want to waste my calories on pasta, rice, potatoes, or bread, and would rather eat more meat, vegetables....or cookies, but pasta is not inherently bad or anything.

    If it works for you--yes.

It really has more carbs than my body can tolerate, so for me pasta is an occasional treat instead of a staple food.

No for me, with a caveat. I can't eat one serving of pasta. No can do. Also, after I eat pasta, I want to eat everything in the house. So, I reserve eating pasta for when I have a great lunch out at my favorite Italian restaurant which has homemade pasta used sparingly with other delicious local ingredients.

(Also, in the interest of full disclosure, I'm eating keto right now, so this now happens very very infrequently.)

If you like pasta and it fits your macros, eat it!

Yes, always and forever. I eat whatever I want, just in moderation and within my calories.
