when figuring out TDEE...is walking enough to be considered exercise?

I don't really 'workout" as much as i use to, but i do walk 5-9 miles a day usually. Today i walked for 1 hour and 40 minutes. I just love walking this trail near my house that is long..it is in the woods and beautiful.
I just don't know if i should count that as exercise or if TDEE is wanting hardcore stuff..like running, ect.
Is walking an hour a day 3-4 times a week sometimes even 7 days a week considered exercise for tdee calculation standpoints?

if you're walking 5-9 miles a day, even if it is just 3 days a week it is most definitely exercise. that is a lot of walking.0
