Style question for guys and gals
Options
I'm interested in the opinions of everyone about style and makeup (and such)
I've heard guys like less makeup on women, and some like more. What are your opinions on it?
What about style? Do you ladies like a well-dressed man, or do you not care so much? Same for guys. Do you like ladies to be more stylish, casual, don't care?
I'm so curious as to what the general opinions are about these things.

MHO:
Men- Mountain Kahki for casual, GQ for formal.
Women- it's awesome to see a beautiful, natural face & low key makeup & still think she looks amazing. However, makeup is fun & helps. Mascara ads lie to me, though!
For women clothing- there is so much variety impossible to choose, we are lucky that way. Most important is a good fit & feel good in it. If you get compliments on a garmet, buy 2 more- you are on the right track.0 -
P.S.
Was out in a crowded public place yesterday & had the opportunity to people watch some fashion situations. And rethink this important topic. I have a little more feedback after yesterday's observation:
The Best dressed people are under age 8 or over 65. They were all rocking these cutting edge brave fashion combinations that I had to admire. They take fashion risks & pair items that are extra ordinary.
We should all hope to look that good.

P.S.S. - not my child. Random internet photo. This is not a child brag post.0

Make up Is great as long as it compliments her natural beauty, If you know what you look like when the Mac washes off, don't stay the night..have some respect lol0

I prefer less makeup. Enhancing what you've got is fine as long as you don't look like a totally different person.
I think style depends on the situation. If I'm at a nice restaurant I like when a guy is dressed up, but if we're just out and about it doesn't matter so much. A nice pair of jeans and a dressy button down is a nice everyday style in my opinion.0 -
There is a time and place for everything, to me make up is cool, less is better or lightly applied. As far as clothes, I am a dresser but depends on occasion. I don't want my man to be focused on his outside more than his inside and how he treats and respects others.
But a woman or guy worried about their appearance is a turn off to me when it becomes obsessive.0 -
Should guys wear skinny jeans?0

I prefer women too look however the hell they want be that 10 tonnes of makeup or nothing but lip balm
for men i prefer them to look like they shop strictly at thrift stores and wear big stomping boots all the time

He!l no! Now guys in a**-hugging cowboy cut wranglers? Yes please
I'm a minimal makeup type person. Eyeliner and mascara, and little enough that I don't look like a raccoon. Adding some eye shadow is fun sometimes, but I rarely do. Absolutely nothing else.
I just don't think it's very attractive when a girl wears so much makeup, she looks like a different person.
Guys? Hmm.. Boots (work boots preferably), jeans and a t-shirt are just fine.0 -
Situation depending for me.
Loved my man in his tux for casino night. Also in his fancy dress renaissance costume. His usual is t shirt hood n jeans woth boots or trainers.
I get a bit in heat when hes in his leathers...i may be a weird pervert.
For me. Work i wear no make up n cheap crappy clothes as i may ruin them. Generally jeans or leggings, tunic n uggs with a little tinted moisturiser, mascara n eyeliner.
Do like going all out with full slap, 6" heels n killer frock tho!!0 -

Everybody looks good in their own individual style! I obviously love wearing hardly any make up other than a little mascara and bold Red lipstick, but some ladies can pull off the deep smokey eye and no lipstick! (which I look like death in) ;p
I prefer Vintage style clothing as well!
For a Guy I am attracted to short hair with neatly groomed facial hair. I love a clean smile and love a nice spicy scent. I Love a well dressed man in a suit but also love the "bad boy" Jeans, boots and Tshirt!0 -
I don't care if you wear more make up or less. I care that:
1. You are comfortable in your own skin
2. You are appropriate for the occasion
3. You put your looks in context (i.e. aren't obsessed with them or aren't oblivious to them)
Everything else is irrelevant.0 -

Hey, thanks for the input, guys and gals! to me it sounds like pretty much everyone has a universal opinion about what's attractive (besides personal preference)...this kind of thing is fascinating to me.
And yes, people still use MAC all the time! but it's SUPER expensive (so I don't. haha)0 -

No!!!0 -
I think makeup is fun! I am a mom and usually I don't put makeup on unless I'm going out for something special. My hubby says he loves it when I have no makeup on and my hair up But he loves it When I get dressed up too.
For men... Scruffy, beard, sexy smelling cologne, button up, jeans and boots!!
Men in suites are nice too but I like the country boys too!!!
