My Favorite Workout Drink

This is one of my favorite workout drinks and sometimes even for a snack.

1 cup Milk (1% ... or what milk you enjoy)
1 Banana
1/4 cup Orange Juice
1/4 cup Yogurt (Strawberry was my favorite)
1/2 cup Fruit (Strawberry again was my favorite)
1/2 - 1 cup ice

Blend. Add more ice if you want thicker.

Not only healthy but also filling. The banana because being blended will give you a more "full" feeling.

    I basically do the same only - the milk/oj and add in V8 Light and then flax, wheatgerm & whey. Maybe it's just me but it seems like any mix I do with strawberries/bananas is always delicious.

    For further information; based on the way I have laid this out, the nutritional value is:

    Calories: 263
    Carbs: 46
    Fat: 3 (from the 1% milk)
    Protein: 12

    Thought this might help for some.

    Note, I drink the whole thing but others may not and will be able to lower these numbers.
