Would you say 500 for the chips is accurate or 450?
  • I would say there are a lot more calories in the chips. If you compare it to a box of microchips where there are hardly any in a box and they are 158 calories for 100grams.

750 for the fries sounds more accurate.

Agree, 75 cals for the cheese, 25 cals for lettuce/ tomato, 100 cals for the mayo.

I can't say more than 1200 because restaurant versions of burgers and fries seem to be between 1200-1500 cals a plate and you have chicken there, not beef which is higher cals.

Definitely 500 for chips, if not a bit over.

    750 for the fries/chips
    200 for the bun
250 for the chicken + 100 for oil/whatever it was cooked in
    75 for cheese
    100 at least for mayo

1500 sounds like a good estimate to me

Wouldn't they just grill the chicken though?which wouldn't need oil?

Mhmm,I'm comparing them to McDonald's chips though which would work out around 600 cals?

Maybe? I don't know...Can't tell from the tiny bit sticking out of the side of the bun. I don't see obvious grill marks.

I tend to err on the side of caution, so if it were me I'd log it as 1500.

Unfortunately I'm not very useful as I am still working on the whole guessing thing, but after reading these comments, darn. Wow. This looks like something I used to eat on a regular basis just as an average lunch. According to some of these estimates (around 1,500), this alone would be as much as I'm supposed to eat in an entire day!? Darn. No wonder it's so easy to gain weight!

1500 A portion of chips in a small bowl at a local restaurant is 720 kcal, I do not trust dining out what so ever. The easiest 2000 calories you'll ever consume.
