Success/struggle this week: Exercise went as planned. I ate EVERYTHING and regret nothing. Had the very best Valentine's Day in years and it involved cooking Italian food with my husband all day. I did faithfully log my food so I know approximately how much I ate and drank. Totally worth it.0 -

Struggles: So I bought a new scale, yay! It says I am 0.5-1 pound higher than my terrible old scale lol. So my Feb weigh ins are kind of weird now. I know I haven't gained so I am not putting in the number on the new scale, but I am using the old scale number, which says I haven't lost anything. I am at a sad little plateau (2-3 weeks), but I think I will be able to track MUCH better with my new scale.
Successes: Bought myself a really nice dark chocolate bar from Whole Foods and I've only had 1 out of 12 squares and told myself that I can have one a day. Big for me anyway lol.0 -

Struggles/successes this week:
Struggles: Being so active - and on track with everything else, as well - it was hard seeing the scale stay the same all week! (So glad it decided to budge.)
Success: I think it was actually good that the scale was stubborn -- I _knew_ I was doing what I needed to do; and I had to both trust, and look for other ways to see that reflected.

Struggles/successes this week: For the last two days, I've been struggling with a tight IT Band and hamstring. This has made it harder (but not impossible) to run. I've been working on making sure I stretch after every run and am icing/wrapping it as much as possible. My biggest success was running another 5k, yesterday, despite my knee/leg pain. My husband ran it with me, which made it all the more special.0 -

Weight loss/gain so far this month: 4
Struggles/successes this week: 1.2 pounds makes me more than happy. I had mostly really good days, though I kind of took 2 off/cheat days this week due to one of them being a surprise 17 hour work day. I didn't obsess or stress over it, though, and didn't really overeat, just indulged a bit. I only exercised 2 days rather than the 3 I planned, but that was due to the crazy work schedule. I did lots more stretching throughout the week, though, and that seems to have helped with the back issues I was having last week.
Goal for the next week: More workouts, especially cardio, which I've been neglecting. I'm going to aim for 1.5 pounds again, but even a .5 loss would be welcome. I'm in it for the long haul and the lifestyle change, at this point. I feel so much healthier and more confident already.0 -

Struggles: Witnessed something horrific while at work and had a binge on Friday. I should have just gone for a long walk. I fell into my old ways by turning to food as comfort. After, I felt guilty for the binge which made me feel worse.
Successes: Despite my horrible Friday, I did lose 3 pounds this week. I'm finally under 300 pounds! I haven't weighed under 300 since 2010. Yes, I am doing my happy dance right now!!!0 -

Struggles/successes , Hay this is my best weekly loss since January, maybe the motivation of this forum really works! I have been trying the 5:2 programme and I am finally realising that "eating normally for 5 days" does not mean stuffing my face with whatever I fancy!!

Struggles/successes this week: I have met my goal - but I suspect some of my weight loss this week was water weight and it might creep back up in the next few days. As for the week, it was good. I stayed on track better than I expected and I ran my first 5K. I did not complete the entire race without any walk breaks (I had 3) which was one of my goals, but I did meet my time goal - under 31 minutes. Now I have to start trying to get ready for a 7K race next month - with more hills. I hope the weather improves soon.
