Start over...AGAIN

I need to lose 75 pounds. Last year didn't do much but yo-yo. When I did lose, I found limiting carbs worked well for me as opposed to watching fats. MFP is the best site to record day by day that I have ever found. I am 76 years old this year and have some challenges to deal with. Lots of pain in back from arthritis. I don't sleep any more than 2-hr increments during the night and eating in the middle of the night soothes me so is a bad habit. I hate taking prescriptions so I don't and surgery is out of the question for me. Therefore exercise is practically nil. I march around the grocery store and run errands and that's about all I can handle. On a positive note, doubt I will ever quit trying to lose weight and am always looking for something new to motivate me. Thanks for listening.
