I just ate a 6" Cold Cut Combo for lunch and I looked at the Subway nutritional menu...the total calories say 410 and it says " Values include 9-grain wheat bread, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, cucumbers and cheese"

I used the Italian Herb and Cheese Bread and that says its 250 calories for that choice of bread alone..
How do I calculate this? I"m confused.

is it? Cold cut combo w/ wheat bread is 410.
(Wheat bread is 210 calories,, bread alone)
I used Italian Herb and Cheese Bread which is 250 calories of bread alone.
So how do I figure it out ?
UPDATE:
O K I think I got it! I ate an extra 40 calories...so I just add it to the 410. Thanx everyone!!

subtract the calorific value of the wheat 6 inch, and add the 250

I'd look up the calorie count for the bread they used, subtract it from 410, then add 250 :)

By having the Italian Herb and Cheese instead of wheat, you just consumed 40 extra calories... not 250 extra. :-)

Find out what the calories are for the 9-grain wheat. Subtract that from the 410 and then add the 250.

For future reference go to http://www.subwayfreshbuzz.com/menu/

This is the website I always use when I'm going to Subway. I can play around with the bread choices and see the calorie, fat and sodium differences.
