Two weeks in and only down 1 lb.

Hello. After having my second baby 7 months ago I'm back on the weight loss wagon. I've been working out and eating right for two weeks now and I'm only down 1 lb. It's kind of discouraging. I started running and I'm on week two of couch to 5k and I've been diligent about counting every calorie. I have a fitbit and have been eating most of the calories I've been burning. I'm 5'2, 226 lbs so I have a lot to lose. Should I not be eating the calories I'm burning? Should I be drinking protein shakes? I don't know what the best way is to get this weight off. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

If you open up your diary to be viewable, that could be helpful re: advice, if you're comfortable with it.0

Do you feel like you lost inches, the same thing happen to me ..but on the 3rd week I lost 6 pounds and during that week I ate bad, they say not to pay attention to the scale to much, that could be a downfall. Pay attention to the way your clothes fit and how you are feeling, so keep going and don't lose focus.0

Some things I read say to eat back the calories and other things I read say not to. It's so confusing. I will not eat them this week and see what happens. Thanks for the replies.0
