Struggles/successes this week: This month isn't going the way I would like but I only have myself to blame, I've had way too much bread and and too many salty snacks. I have got to buckle down and get some more weight off. My son is getting married in June so I have need to get more weight off before I go shopping for my dress. I think this year for Lent I am going to try giving up bread and see what happens there. I thought about giving up chocolate but I eat so little of it anyway I didn't see the point. So bread it will be.

Struggles/successes this week: I don't understand why the number on the scale isn't going down, since it was going down at a nice pace in January when I lost 3 lbs. I have been going to the gym/exercising 5-6 days a week and restricting my calories and choosing healthy foods. I am continuing to see my body tone up and the rolls are lessening -- not sure why that isn't reflecting in the number on the scale? I change up my workouts every day, I make sure not to eat before bed. It's frustrating.0 -

Struggles/successes this week: Well, I weighed myself before this weekend of terrible eating began, so that's the weight I'm putting here. This is huge for me since I haven't been under 170 in over a year! I'm back to work and my normal food routine tomorrow so I'm sure I'll have a great weigh in next Sunday.0 -

Weight loss/gain this week: Almost 3 lbs from last weigh-in.... WOW! I'm guessing it was water weight? (I don't weigh in daily, I can't stand the pressure....)
Weight loss/gain so far this month: 6.8 lbs. Not eating dairy makes it REAL easy to hit my caloric goals....
Struggles/successes this week: After all the V'Day marketing, I made myself some avocado cocoa mousse to combat sweet eating... Still not going to the gym as much as I wanted, and Mother Nature came to pay a visit, so I expect it all to slow down now. It's okay, I feel like I got this. Mostly. Just need more sleeeeeep....0 -
Hi everyone!!!!
Been reading all your posts and very impressed with some HUGE weight loss!!!! But, whatever your situation - loss, gain, same - well done for logging and keeping with the challenge!!!
I've been a bad OP/thread leader for the past few days as I had an indulgent Valentines Day and some comfort eating/drinking late last week when my hubby was away. This resulted in a 2lb gain and a LOT of sulking....as such, I've not been very good at motivating myself, never mind others.
But, you can't keep a good woman down for long and now I'm back!!!!
It's going to be tough (a.k.a impossible!) for me to get to my Feb goal but I'm going to give it a darn good try!!! So for the rest of the month....it's a case of keeping under my 1200 cals each day, running like a crazy lady and fitting in as much exercise/activity as my schedule allows. My kids are off school this week for half term hols so I'm dragging them on walks, swimming, etc. I need to fit my running in either before hubby goes to work (ie, 7am....groan...) or when he gets home (ie, 6.30pm....groan.....). Neither appeals to me as I hate running in the dark but needs must!
Lets rock that next weigh in!!!!0 -

Struggles/successes this week: You get what you pay for. Potluck at work, visitors from out of town all weekend. All in all, lots of fun, but I'm paying for it in a big way. I hope to get through Fat Tuesday without gaining any more...then it's on to "getting serious" for the rest of the month.0 -

Struggles/successes this week: Whenever I get close to "that time of the month" I always seem to lose most, if not all, self control. I just really don't give a $#!t and it's not good. I was off track this entire week. In fact, if I'm being honest, I've been off track this entire month! As you can tell from my 2.5 weight gain. It's my fault, I'm not being disciplined like I should. I'm back on track the rest of this month, shooting for at least 194 before the month is over. I can do this.0 -

Struggles/successes this week: I have definitely plateaued this past 2 weeks. What the hell is going on?! It's time for some drastic measures - I refuse to stay stuck here. The worst part is I'm so close to being in the 60's and just isn't happening to me. I'm going really strict now - no meals that arent made at home, eating 100 cals less per day, weighing every single thing that goes in my mouth, changing my workout routine, keeping my sodium count below the recommended mg per day, eating more protein and one treat a fortnight that fits within my calorie goal. If I don't lose weight next week, I'm going to be dumb founded - I really do not know what I'd be doing wrong if I do all of the above I just mentioned, and still don't lose anything! This is so frustrating and I'm sure I won't reach my goal by the end of the month. Best case scenario I'll be 500g heavier than my goal weight for the end of February, which I would be absolutely fine with. In fact, with the way things are going, I'd 100% welcome any kind of weight loss no matter how small. I guess things are only going to get harder from here - I'm down to the last '10 pounds' before my goal weight and I always knew it wouldn't be easy.. I just hope it isn't ridiculously hard. I'll try a little harder and see where it takes me.
Don't lose heart. You are so close.0 -

Struggles/successes this week: I really haven't tried hard to lose any weight. I've been lazy and have been eating at maintenance pretty much all week. This cold weather is demotivating because my main form of exercise is walking!
Anywho, I am going to try to lose at least ONE POUND by the end of the month!!0 -
I just ran across this group today. I wish I found it sooner. I sure hope someone starts one of these for March .... I'll be watching so I can join in!! Keep up the great work everyone!

Hi there....I started this February group and will be starting one in March too as lots of people are finding it helpful....do feel free to join us for the rest of Feb and hop onto March too.
I've personally had a 'not great' Feb after a brilliant Jan....so I need March to get back on track.
Shout out to all Feb folks - will you be joining me for the March group??? I'll set it up in the next few days....it'll be same format - weekly weigh-ins, etc....and of course, you can change the days, etc.
Everyone welcome no matter what your goals!!!!0 -
I'm definitely in for a March group! Thank you for setting these up - I find it super helpful!0

I'm finding it super helpful too, so I will also be joining in for March!0
