Am I losing to fast?

I started losing weight 6 weeks ago. I started out at 339 today im 288..I also found out that I have gluten n potato intorance about the same time. Am I losing to fast..Im working out 3 times a week.I sticking close to my allowed calories. I just not sure if something I wrong or is it ok? Thanks

    I would kill to lose that fast! It will slow down. I'm sure you are doing great!

    Hey Ricki,

    First off, awesome work and keep it up. Secondly, there is no set rules, and there are different strokes for different folks. But I would say that the general rule of thumb is about 1-2 lbs a week or up to 1% of total weight a week (1 year would be = 52 - 100 lbs). While you've been losing about 8.5 lbs a week, the initial stages of the journey tend to be where the rapid weight lost occurs. So it should naturally slow down, but I would try to control the pace by adding more calories into your intake and aim to reach your weekly target weight. This pace is a natural good pace that will help mentally and emotionally with the journey, makes it a lot easier to maintain, and help your body adjust with the stress occurring.
