how is it that I'm always eating right, at or under my calories, breastfeeding and still not losing weight? I'm so confused by this and really wanting my clothes to fit again. Any ideas or advice? TIA

I'm not sure how to open my diary? Thanks for the advice. I don't measure everything and if I'm not sure I just put in whatever measures close to the amount. Maybe just become more strict with that? And lower my sugar intake.

I think you might be well served to just try to be patient until you are done breastfeeding. I have heard some women say they stayed heavier while breast feeding and then dropped a good amount or weight once they stopped. Keep in mind you body is still under a different hormone balance than you are used to so it may not be acting how it will once you are done.

It is always better to log as accurately as you can, people are notorious for underestimating intake, thats why it is usually advised to use a food scale for more accurate logging. Be careful cutting calories too much, your body is under alot of stress right now so take good care of yourself.

If you aren't tracking accurately that is your problem, purchase a food scale and measuring cups and begin monitoring everything! I'd also check with my doctor before doing anything (I mean that I would ask my wife to) if you are breastfeeding.

Thank you for your honest advice:) I'll go buy a food scale and try not to stress to much. Baby is still up 2-3 times a night so maybe that's no help as well.

    Sugar is not evil.

You can eat all the sugar you want, within your calorie quota.
