Hello,
I'm kinda confused of my activity level... i am a college student and walk anywhere from 2.75-4.25 miles a day from going to class, grocery shopping, etc. I also do basic chores everyday like clean my dorm, laundry etc.
I don't exercise other than that, however I find out of a 16 hour day I'm on my feet for maybe 4-6 hours.
What would I be classified as?

You're lightly active or active.
When you track exercise, please only track "deliberate exercise", e.g. if you go to the gym or spend a weekend on a long hike. If you are hiking or walking INSTEAD of going to class and doing all the other walking that would normally form your day, don't log it separately, because you'd be double-counting.
It doesn't really matter how you set your activity level - that's just a starting point for estimating your caloric requirements. No matter what, you'll have to adjust after a few weeks when you see if you're losing/gaining/maintaining at your current target goal, and also if you suffer from hunger.0 -
Lightly active most days. But if you can splurge for a fitbit or pedometer you can log it and know exactly. You can get a zip for $39 or so on ebay and it will sync with a phone or computer. With a pedometer you can look at our steps and figure it by miles walked. My days are a lot like yours (I'm a professor) and it helps me a lot. I set to sedentary.0
