Hi! I am new to weight training & starting a program to build muscle & lose fat. I'm a great encourager & would love new friends on this journey!!!

    Good luck to you. Which do you plan on doing first? Losing fat or gaining muscle? What is your plan?

    Working on gaining muscle. Trainer told me I was eating too few calories which was why I couldn't seem to lose weight no matter how hard I tried. I found it hard to believe but he put me on a 40-30-30 diet (protein being 40) and upped my calorie intake to 1500 day. I have only been on it 2 weeks & I have lost 6 lbs! Can't believe I am eating more & losing weight!! My first time in a weight lifting program & I am enjoying it a lot!
