Anxious after over eating

I spent last weekend at a family gathering, suffice to say there were plenty of food and I was over my count. This week I have my 8 y.o. nephew staying over for his school break and there's junk food in the house as well as food I normally would not go near, but I can't seem to resist when they are so close by. The last two days I haven't logged in the extra snacks I've had, which I never do! Even though I lost 10lb (my original goal) I am so worried that I am slowly gaining the weight back. How do mothers of young children stay thin ?? I need to put this in perspective.

  • It's so hard avoiding snacks. I've been eating valentines day chocolate for the past week. It's all about self control, I'm sure you'll make up for it!

I get anxious too, I feel like I will gain it all back from that one time. It feels awful that's for sure but stick with it. I even find I get anxious about potentially over eating. I have a first date tomorrow and I'm more concerned about the meal and how I feel about my weight than the actual date. Wow when I see that in print I feel ridiculous thinking that way. If you want a friend for encouragement I would be happy to buddy up. Good luck with your goals, remember one day at a time. :)
