I've had my FitBit Charge for about 2 weeks and love it. If you are trying to sync your FitBit to MFP, you have to go into your diary settings here on MFP and check the box to allow for negative cals/calucualtions, or something like that it will say. Beware, if you are not moving enough, it will DEDUCT cals from your daily allowance to account from the difference in you not moving enough in comparison with what MFP has allowed you. Took me some getting used to in the beginning, but the more I sue my Charge, the more I "get it".

Please add me. I need all the motivation/competition I can get. https://fitbit.com/user/36WD2Y

You're my hero for the day! I had no idea how to do this, and as a desk jockey, I hadn't realized how sedentary I was. :)

Wow, hero you say? Nah, just new to MFP and even newer to FitBit. BUT, I did figure out how to sync the two. This is exactly what I need to help me make progress and it's awesome. About a week ago I wanted to hit that 10 floor goal, so I would go up and down the steps at home during commercial breaks on TV. Then it became a game of wanting to burn more calories, so I would do more steps. I did like 25 floors that day! I was all hyped up. LOL Hooray for small victories!

All you need to do is click on the links people are providing and it should have a button on their profile to add them. If they are giving you their email address then you can go to the "Friends" section of your profile page and click "Find Friends." One of the options will be to search by Email address.

Verizon has the charge on sale for $119 this month, but I was considering purchasing the one that goes on your shirt/bra. Which is better?

I had the Fitbit One and it was great for every day because you could wear it under your clothes or in a pocket. I found that I had a tendency to forget it was there and kept sending it through the wash. Also you have to take it off and put it on your wrist at night for it to track your sleep. If you are less forgetful than I am, the One will likely work for you. If not then I would go with the Charge.
