I try to stay under 1700 calories. If I eat a lot of protein, I usually eat about 1500 calories.

im 5'2, 231 as of today and float between 1200-1800 calories depending on exercise and calories burned. right now im playing with my calorie levels to see what my body likes (1200 really isnt enough for me, most days, im pretty active and then add in exercise 6-7 days a week). this week im taking 'off' cause of the weather. and i still lost a pound. so i wont complain. ready to get back to the gym and get back to my walks though! LOL

5'0, currently 227lbs, 1200 calories a day and honestly it's so much easier than I thought. I walk 4 miles a day, make my 10,000 steps a day, and only sometimes eat some of my exercise calories back. I've lost 9.8lbs in the last 21 days. I have a ton of energy and feeling great. So please no one respond that it's not healthy, because I'm feeling better than ever.

5'4" 232 lbs, my range is between 1500-1700 (which my personal trainer said is right on for me) - strength train 3x/week and do 150 minutes of moderate intensity cardio weekly

If you just started lots of people see a big initial loss - also, I've been told that if you're significantly overweight/obese, it's safe to lose more than the 2 lbs a week and there's a certain percentage to go by, but I can't find that info now so who knows.
