    How active did you tell MFP you were ? In the case of Fitbit the calorie adjustment only occurs when the Fitbit estimate of your daily calorie burn exceeds what you told MFP so if you set to sedentary it might require 3000 steps to break even.

    There is a tick button under settings to include your steps.
