50 y/o canadian here. No desk job, just lots of stairs I can climb instead of using an elevator. I do walkway shoveling at a few buildings during the winter, plus painting and maint. and I lift 3x/week. On a 1720 calorie plan and have lost 3lbs so far this week. My goal is 155-160lbs. Currently at 197, down from 215 in mid November.

I am 52, live in the U.S. and drive almost an hour to work. On my feet a lot at work and tired in the evenings. I am in the healthcare field. I'm not in need of much weight loss, 5-10 lbs at most, but I need to up my exercise. I'm not diabetic (yet) but my glucose numbers are looking bad lately.0
