Just started and time to get serious! Want to lose ideally 30 pounds! Tips are always welcome! Let the challenge begin!

    Hi! I have 30 pounds to lose as well. If I have learned anything from this site it is burn off less calories than you take in and get moving. You can eat what you want as long as at the end of the day you are in a calorie deficit. Eat back some of your exercise calories (50% or less); use a heart rate monitor if you want to accurately see how many calories you burn as MFP over exaggerates calories burned from exercise as do the machines at the gym.
