oh thats wonderful! I am new to this 'runners world', I shall have a deeper look into it. It makes me quite sad actually because 3 years ago I LOVED running, I was really into it and my fitness improved immensely and I lost over 30 pounds doing it. It was great fun and the more weightI lost the stronger and faster I became...my health somewhat deteriorated and stopped my running all together. I can't even explain what a wonderful feeling you get whilst running, it feels like your on top of the world! I shall return soon, I am very much looking forward to it! Thank you for sharing this site, it will be lovely to read stories on running:) Congratulations on your success!

I read your story on their website!! One of the best stories I have read in my life!! I love to read about overweight people who take up running and next thing you know they are running marathons!! I am soo envious of such great people! Keep it up!! :D

Great story! You are such an inspiration! I started running about 2 years ago. I will never be fast but I love the endurance especially since it is something I never thought I could do. I am now training for my 3rd half marathon☺. What is your pace for ultra running and have you started a blog? I would love to follow it! Congrats on your race!

Thanks everyone! @ladydi632015, Good luck on your half marathon! My pace during ultras is relatively mediocre as I'm still usually the biggest guy on the trail but I'm working on it. Here is my blog link http://gilberthernandezrunner.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
