Here is a quick tally so far on the places that do or don't list weight on the drivers license:

Yes - AB, AK, AL, BC, CA, FL, GA, IL, IN, MB, MD, ME, MN, MO, MS, NM, OH, OK, SC, SD, UT, WA, WI

No - Australia, FL, Germany, IA, NC, NY, ON, PA, UK, VA

    Transitioning to No - TX

    States - Not heard from:
AR, AZ, CO, DE, DC, HI, ID, KS, KY, LA, MA, MI, MT, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NV, OR, RI, TN, VT, WV, WY

    Canada – Not heard from:
NB, NS, NT, NU, ON, PE, QC, SK, YT

Let us know where you are?

Michigan doesn't have weights on their licenses either. I am afraid at some point I'm going to get questioned when carded though since I'm 60lbs lighter than I was in the picture and it doesn't quite look like me any more...

    140. For years it's been a 10-15 pound lie.

For the tally: my KY license does not list a weight. It did several years ago, but I can't remember what weight I had on it. Probably 135lbs. Which is close to where I am again. Last time I weighed I was 132lbs. But, yeah, I was a liar for a LOOOOONG time!!

Oh, and I think on the TN license I had a couple of years ago it didn't list a weight. I can't really remember though. They put it through the shredder when I moved back to KY. lol

I'm in LA and when I renewed my license a year ago they still had the weight on it. That's my next big goal, to get to the 170 that mine has shown for many many years. I'm at 193 now so hopefully I'll be there by the summer.

Mine says 225. I was actually 268 when it was taken, I lied by a huge amount lol. Its ironic because now I am 145, but it doesnt expire for a few more years.

I think it's a hold over from the days they didn't have pictures so it was a description of you, weight, height, hair and eye color. After losing 60 lbs I'm now 7 lbs under the weight on my license LOL

Possibly, although in the UK if you have an old paper licence it doesn't have a photo on it.

I've only had a photo on my driving licence since I was about 33, when I finally got round to updating it (bit naughty as it still had my parents' address on it and was in my maiden name).

So, I don't have a weight on mine, although I weigh less now than I did at 17 when I got my licence.

Arizona DL, Mine says 135, what I weighed when I got it. They are a 50 year license and I haven't renewed my photo or anything since 2006.

My TX ID card says 150, I lied.

MA (Massachusetts) has height but no weight. I've only lived here for 18 months so I don't know if it ever had weight listed.

150, which is so comical. I don't think I've seen that weight since like... maybe high school? Maybe? :joy:

I am from Ohio. Mine says 185 from about 2 1/2 years ago. I was about 195 at the time. I hit a high of 202 about a year and a half ago. I am currently 163 lbs. It is really nice for it to be wrong because the weight is too high now. :)

In MN here. I actually just renewed mine yesterday. It was listed at 200, though I was closer to 250 (260 is highest). Yesterday I listed it at 175, even though I'm in the 190s...I was down to 175 about this time last year, so trying to get back to it. My picture will be the biggest change. Not only am I 60+ lbs lighter, but I was dying my hair dark brown...now I'm back to my natural blond.

130 lbs. I was more like 145 lbs when it was issued, but now I'm 122-123 lbs.

Mine says 130. Ha ha ha! More like 160. But it said 130 even when I weighed 180. The last two times I got a new driver's license I tried to change it, but the DMV is apparently determined for me to weigh 130.

Mine is 7 lbs more than my actual weight!! I guess I will change it next time I renew (and it will hopefully be even lower than now).

Mine says 200, which was my actual weight 4 years ago (I didn't lie!!)
I now weigh 220. Would love to get down to 200 by the time I have to renew in May.

It's nice to see so many people that are actually now lying in the opposite direction.

I've had a drivers license in NJ, NY and FL...none of which list weight. Seems like a silly thing to include since it is variable (unlike eye color). Then again, I've often had dramatically different hair (color, style, length) than is pictured on my license.

I did increase my height the last time I renewed my license. After years of believing I was 5'2 1/4" (and listing my height at 5'2")...I discovered I was half an inch taller than I believed...so I rounded up to 5'3" :D
