Not understanding!

I have been trying to use MFP for a while now and I always am way under for my calories. I don't understand. I eat 3 meals a day and 2 snacks.. So once it tells me everyday I give up on using the app, then eat bad. Does this happen to anyone else? I am so frustrated!

Try not to rely on the app, guage your progress off of weight gain/loss as well as mirror progress, use the app only as a guideline, sometimes the calories can be off, so if you're eating less and still making progress then you'll be alright!0

I'm not understanding what your problem is. Are you not losing or are you getting the message that you aren't eating enough?0

Most people estimate their calorie intake wrong.

Don't cheat on anything. Be honest. Completely. If anything, overestimate your calories when choosing how many calories in something you eat.0 -
I use this app to set a guideline and track my weight loss progress. I find logging every calorie to be too time consuming. The best part of MFP isnt the calorie tracking it's the community!0

Not understanding the problem. You eat good and then when it tells you that you haven't eaten enough you then proceed to pig out ?0

So once a day it tells you what? And why would it make you "eat bad"?
Also, being "way under for calories" is not good - your daily goal is just that, a GOAL. This is a target you are trying to hit, or at least come very close to, not fall well short of....

Well now I'm curious about where those cheese fries and ranch dressing are from. I need to know ...for a friend?
